Drawing on the best of our spiritual traditions, our connection to the land here, and from the wealth of educational, professional, financial, environmental, community transformational and creative skills of our resident members and wider community, we aim to be in service to the world through the exciting projects listed below.
Buying the Park
Over the last 12 months EF has been in deep negotiations with the FF, resulting in a sale offer from FF to EF of the bulk of the Park, ranging from the Central Area & Phoenix (EF1) to the Universal Hall (EF2a), the Field of Dreams commons (EF2b) through to Pineridge (EF3).
We are raising £1.15 Million to complete the buyout, which is broken into 3 stages, with-emption rights on other areas. We have already secured a £100,00 philanthropic loan along with a number of pledges for Part 1, the Central Area. Our community democratic and ecological aims align very closely to the Scottish Government's national agenda and we have been accepted into the Scottish Land Fund community buy-out process.
