With our UN-Habitat best practice designation, which was re-awarded in 2018, there are plenty of environmental innovations to learn about in real life demonstration here at the ecovillage - such as; experimental green buildings; renewable energy systems; approaches to restoring biodiversity and nature protection; biomimicry and water treatment; sustainable and community development - all home-grown and evolving since our "Planetary Village Conference" more than forty years ago!
We soon hope to get our organic food production back up and running, in partnership with the Findhorn Foundation, providing more volunteering and study opportunities.
Our community launched the United Kingdom's first Community Supported Agriculture scheme , EarthShare, thirty years ago, and before that grew the mysterious Giant Cabbages of 1970s fame!
You will be living in community with other guests who will be your sangha, buying and making food together, with opportunity to participate in community gatherings if you wish to do so. The EF team usually works out of the Guest Lodge one morning a week, so you can be right at the heart of the action!

The Park Ecovillage sits beside the gorgeous historic fishing village of Findhorn. Located on a peninsula in Northeast Scotland, the area is renowned for its nature reserves, starry skies, and sunny micro-climate with a beach that stretches for miles. There is a lovely walk back along the bay, to the ecovillage, from the two local pubs.

We are excited to share in your passions and look forward to welcoming you “home”.
