I have passion for supporting community-led action, which I believe is one of the major catalysts for societal change.

I moved to The Park in February 2024 after 42 years living in the area, and joined the Board as one way of supporting the amazing work going on in the Findhorn Ecovillage at this exciting time, ripe with opportunities and potential.

My skills and expertise were developed through the last quarter of a century, leading and/or supporting community-led action in both paid and voluntary roles, including, for example:

• formation of the Forres Community Woodlands Trust, which now owns and manages some 140 acres of woodland in Forres on behalf of the community,

• supporting the setting up and development of Transition Town Forres, which hosts the Environmental Education & Healthy Living Centre, and the a community garden,

• leading the formation and development of FACT (Forres Area Community Trust), which owns and manages the Forres Town Hall,

• taking on the role of Chief Officer in the then newly-formed tsiMORAY in 2013, which I now jointly lead.

I am deeply grateful to EF members for their trust in my ability to support our collective work from within the Board, and intend to do my best to repay that trust by serving with commitment and integrity.
