Sue Dominey is an accredited counsellor, supervisor and group facilitator with over 30 years’ experience across health, education and community settings. She is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works in accordance with its Code of Ethics, supported by regular clinical supervision.

Her professional background includes counselling roles in primary care, schools, universities and community projects, alongside extensive experience in group facilitation, conflict resolution and expressive arts-based practice. Sue has managed and facilitated therapeutic programmes addressing trauma, violence, abuse and gender-based harm.

Sue brings to the board a deep understanding of wellbeing, safeguarding, ethical practice and relational dynamics, offering a vital perspective on the human and cultural dimensions of community governance
