Mari Hollander

Elected Nov 2023; Re-elected November 2025

Mari Hollander brings long-standing experience in education, governance, community leadership and renewable energy within the Findhorn Ecovillage community. She has held multiple leadership roles across the Findhorn Foundation, Findhorn College and related bodies over more than two decades.

Mari served as Chair of Findhorn Wind Park, a community-owned renewable energy company, from 2002 to 2023, overseeing governance during a period of major sector change. Her education leadership includes roles as Education Coordinator, Project Manager and Co-Chair/Director of Findhorn College, as well as work on renewable energy research projects and course development.

She has served as a Trustee of the Findhorn Foundation, a member of the NFA Council, and as part of the Findhorn Foundation Trust management circle, with particular responsibility for internal education, HR and health & safety. Earlier in her career, Mari worked as a kindergarten teacher at Moray Steiner School.

Mari brings deep institutional memory, practical governance experience and a strong commitment to education, community resilience and collaborative leadership.
