I lived in community in the early 1990’s, where the Findhorn Foundation, the resonant landscape, and the people of the community inspired me with the setting and experiences to chart a life and work change of course: from zero inner practice and constant busyness, reacting to demands from others to finding life purpose and center; from corporate marketing and strategic planning to conservation landscape design; from a big southern city to a small rural county in the Piedmont of central Virginia.
Inner Work, Outer Action encapsulates what I hope to be doing (I admit to being blown, pulled or wandering off course at times) with my family on our farm and in our communities. After 25 years
away I began revisiting Findhorn in 2019 almost every year, and since 2023 participating
as much as possible in the global community as a Resource Person (RP) and in Ecovillage
Findhorn (EF). I use the three guiding principles of inner listening, work as love in action, and
co-creation with Nature.
