Virginia Rockwell
Board Member:
Finance, Communications & Education
Elected Nov 2025
Virginia Rockwell’s connection with Findhorn began in the early 1990s, when living in community profoundly influenced a change in both life direction and professional focus. Inspired by the Findhorn Foundation, the landscape and community practices, she shifted from a fast-paced corporate career in marketing and strategic planning toward a more grounded, purpose-led path rooted in inner work, relationship with place, and service.
Over the following decades, Virginia built a life centred on conservation landscape design, rural living and community engagement in central Virginia, where she lives and works with her family on their farm. Her work is guided by the Findhorn principles of inner listening, work as love in action, and co-creation with nature — values she describes as an ongoing practice rather than a fixed destination.
After a 25-year period away, Virginia resumed regular engagement with Findhorn from 2019 and has since become increasingly active within the global Findhorn community. Since 2023, she has contributed as a Resource Person and as a Board Member of Ecovillage Findhorn, bringing a reflective, nature-connected and values-based perspective to community governance and stewardship.
